As of March 23rd, Iran has launched a total of 5,761 missiles and drones: 4,911 targeting its neighboring Arab countries, and 850 targeting Israel. Despite being regarded as the “Little Satan” and the true enemy, Israel’s share of these attacks amounts to only 15%.
Go ahead and add this to the list: The international community is busy forming a coalition to open the Strait of Hormuz. And what’s President Trump doing, and Israel is cheering? Threatening to attack Iran’s energy sector, unless the Strait magically opens in 48 hours. Iran, of course, threatens to retaliate. Against whom? Go on, be my guest and take a guess. Then, they start negotiations. How cute!
The three Amigos share a longstanding history of cooperation, and there is no reason to believe it has ever ceased.
Ancient wisdom: When a man charges at you with a stick in his hand, you will not survive by watching the stick, nor will you prevail by watching the hand. The one who survives and prevails is the one who looks into the aggressor’s eyes, to see the intention before the movement, and to anticipate what comes next.
So, when a western experts says: Iran is winning. I say:
That is a respectable hypothesis when viewed from an altitude of 5,000 feet, but a politicized one.
However, if we ascend another 35,000 feet, we will see that America and Israel are victorious, and that the Western Christendom is victorious as well.
This war does not pose an existential threat to America or Israel, but I cannot say the same with regard to the countries of the region.
The hypothesis that I lean toward , and which is being promoted by ‘western experts’ who encourage Iran, with suspicious generosity, to persist in its current approach, is that the goal of the war is to destroy the entire region, then seize its oil and gas under full Israeli hegemony.
Fortunately, the countries of the region are alert to this scheme. They are looking America in the eye, not at its stick (Iran).
